I grew up in Southern California and recently moved to Utah to be near family. After graduating from Azusa Pacific University, I spent almost eight years working with children and adolescents with autism. I absolutely love working with students at Providence Hall Junior High and am honored to help them navigate these crazy and wonderful junior high years. I have an amazing husband, a 15-year-old son, an 8-year-old daughter, 1 dog, and 2 guinea pigs named Goonie and Derrick. Emily was born and raised in Central California. She came to Utah for college and
the mountains would not let her leave. Emily has developed a deep passion for
social work and is a firm believer of the healing that comes from sharing our
unique and individual story. Emily is new to Providence Hall, but she is excited to
be part of the team! As a self-proclaimed self-care advocate, Emily spends most of
her free time traveling, hiking, and laughing at puns. When she’s not at work, you’ll
most likely find her scouting out the best margherita pizza or playing with her niece
